While there’s a lot to love about living in Silicon Valley, we can probably all agree on one thing: traffic is a nightmare!

A recent study by the Auto Insurance Center found the San Jose metro area (made up of the counties of Santa Clara and San Benito) had the fifth worst commute in all of the U.S. in 2015, with San Jose drivers wasting an average of 67 hours in traffic.

67 hours… That’s more than a week-and-a-half of work!

Traffic not only wastes time, but money as well. According to the report, the average commuter in Silicon Valley lost $1422 last year due to loss of time, wasted fuel and wear-and-tear on their cars.

Here at BriteLab, we believe there are better things to do with 67 hours and $1422.

When choosing our new facility, we sought out a location that would provide a better work/life balance for us and for our clients. Santa Teresa Business Park was the answer. Located in South San Jose off Highways 85 and 101, BriteLab offers a reverse commute that avoids the treacherous northbound AM traffic and southbound PM traffic, freeing up time and money that can be spent more productively.

BriteLab’s “reverse commute” isn’t limited, however, to just traveling to-and-from home. Offering a full spectrum of services to take products from concept to market under one roof, our clients are also spared from having to travel from location-to-location trying to manage the various day-to-day aspects of running a business while overseeing production. This can potentially save thousands of dollars in travel, as headquarters and production facilities are sometimes states or even countries apart.

With no more extended commutes and expensive business trips, BriteLab, in short, offers the ultimate reverse commute for Silicon Valley businesses.
