BriteLab

Contract engineering and manufacturing

Engineering andmanufacturing forOEM equipment programs.

BriteLab designs, prototypes, and builds semiconductor equipment for OEMs on one Silicon Valley floor, with engineering, manufacturing, and test running in parallel.

01How we run a program

The whole program runs in parallel.

Design, prototyping, and manufacturing-process development move forward at the same time, so the program reaches production sooner than a staged handoff allows.

BriteLab has built precision electro-mechanical and mechatronic systems since 2007, and brings that engineering to each program, with engineering, manufacturing, integration, and test inside the Silicon Valley facility.

02What we bring

Six engineering disciplines, integrated.

01Optical

Imaging, illumination, sensing.

Optical architecture, calibration, alignment, and metrology integration.

02Electronics

Architecture to test.

PCB design, embedded hardware, and functional test.

03Mechanical

Structures, motion, thermal.

Tolerance analysis and design for manufacture.

04Electrical

Power, controls, safety.

Harnessing and compliance.

05Software

Embedded and applications.

Automation and data interfaces.

06AI and analytics

Simulation and computer vision.

Anomaly detection and optimization.

Systems engineering: requirements, interfaces, configuration, risk, verification, traceability.

02.2Optical engineering

Image quality, illumination, and sensing designed as one system.

Optical bench with lens assemblies, a ring light, a resolution target, and a camera on a motion stage

Optical performance is decided by the whole path, not by the lens. BriteLab engineers the architecture, the illumination, the detector, and the calibration together, then carries the design into production test fixtures.

  • 01Optical architecture and tolerance analysis
  • 02Lens, camera, detector, and illumination selection
  • 03Machine vision, microscopy, and metrology integration
  • 04Stray-light, contrast, MTF, and signal optimization
  • 05Calibration, alignment, and performance verification
  • 06Prototype-to-production transfer and test fixtures

03Selected customers
