San Jose, C.A., September 28, 2021/ -BriteLab, Inc. announced today that it has received an order for a new 300mm Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) featuring Britelab’s Aeroloader IV transport system, as well as extensive use of its Under Track Storage (UTS) from a customer in the U.S.

“We are very pleased to announce the closing of the order from a new AMHS customer here in the U.S. BriteLab’s continued commitment to deliver these systems not only to the fabs in the U.S. but also to the global market is paying off with our efforts”, said Tim Lenihan, Vice President of AMHS at BriteLab. The system will be installed in a high-volume manufacturing fab in North America in mid-2022.

BriteLab’s UTS combined with the Aeroloader IV transport systems provides high volume manufacturing fabs a zero footprint, reliable, and low-cost way of storing Work in Progress (WIP). By moving a large portion of the WIP storage off the factory floor, manufacturing sites realize additional wafer start capacity by way of increased space for process tools.
